Huria Management has a strong reputation of 20 years of service to the Tauranga & Western Bay Communities. First established in 1986 by nga Kaumatua o Ngaitamarawaho hapu.

Nga Kaumatua o Ngaitamarawaho created Huria Management Trust to umbrella and strengthen the tribal activities, which at that time were centred around the rebuilding of ‘Tamatea Pokaiwhenua”.

In May 2000, Huria Management Trust became an Incorporated Society, and was approved charitable status in that same year.
